A General Journal is the primary journal or place to record transactions that do not fit into any other journal. The General Journal (GJ) serves a major purpose. In many small business situations, the Cash Disbursements (CD) Journal may be the only journal used in conjunction with the GJ. The CD journal you may recall is essentially your checkbook register. That being the case, one side of the transactions always results in a credit (decrease) to Cash. You decide which GL accounts to debit the checks. C is way more time consuming than necessary. D is also a good idea only if you don't have access to lots of different sites through your school. If you do, don't click that and when you find a title that looks promising, you can usually find the full text somewhere. Really, though, it depends on your topic and what sort of seach database you are using. Play around with your search criteria to see what you come up with. If you don't have enough, try using the word "OR" a lot. For example, if you are doing a project on popularity, try searching for "popularity OR popular OR unpopular OR unpopularity".
